Ammunition questions

Postby njzombieguy » Thu Apr 30, 2015 5:09 pm

I could just call, but I figure others might have ammo questions, since I have not found any topics about this. .

Question 1:
Does the range allow the steel cased Russian ammo such as TulAmmo?

I know a lot of the indoor ranges do not. I don't buy the safty excuses. I've shot enouth of those to know that when it works with your gun, it works fine. Just not all guns like it. I just think they don't want to have to spend the time seperating the brass from the steel. They never heard of magnets?. Lol.

Question 2:
Based on some of the other topics, I am under the impression that .22 rifles are alowed on the pistol range. I am also under the impression that shotguns are also allowed there. Please correct me if I'm assuming wrong.
What I am not clear on is the type of shot allowed on the pistol range. Thre are conflicting posts on this. Will a STAFF member please clarify what is, and is not allowed? The term "FINE" shot is stated in other topics. FINE meaning?... Bird shot? How about buckshot? And if yes, what sizes?

thank you for your help in clarifying this. Some of those other topics are years old.

We allow most Ammo steel and brass. We DO NOT ALLOW ANY TRACERS OR EXPLODING AMMO.The Russian steel is ok.
22 Rifles, shot guns with FINE SHOT & BUCK SHOT are allowed on the Pistol Range. Buck shot of all sizes is ok.
